Even within the Federal 90 day infrastructure review, a process whereby Federally Funded projects Australia wide are assessed on an as needed basis, our clients, Civil Engineering Contractors in the Tier 1 and 2 Space, are still seeking to fill a number of crucial Project Engineering positions. Generally based in the catchments of the Gold Coast à Brisbane Corridor, the Sunshine Coast Corridor or the Bowen Basin Corridor, the needs are mostly urgent and these Contracting Entities have a continuity of work following current projects.
Regarding the Project Engineering positions, roles will generally report into a Senior Project Engineer/Area Manager.
Regarding the Site Engineer roles, They will report to SPEs or occasionally the Project Engineers.
Regarding the Senior Project Engineer roles, reporting will be to the Project Managers.
All roles will be tasked with managing subcontractor packages at different sizes and levels and delivery of such to a high HSE and Quality standard while ensuring budgets are met.

Project Engineer – General Civil, CV$50m project, 18 mths duration, Brisbane suburban location
Site Engineer – General Civil, CV$200m Project, 2 year duration, Gold Coast Brisbane corridor
Site Engineer – Structures, CV$100m Project, 2 year duration, Gold Coast Brisbane Corridor (PLACED)
Senior Project Engineer – Structures – CV$250m Project – 18 mth duration, Gold Coast Brisbane Corridor
Traffic Engineer – CV$500m Project – 3 year duration, Gold Coast Brisbane Corridor
Project Engineer – Structures – CV$300m Project – 2 year duration, Gold Coast Brisbane Corridor
Senior Project Engineer – General Civil – CV$100m Project – Brisbane Sunshine coast corridor
Site Engineer – General Civil – CV$50m Project – Brisbane to Sunshine Coast Corridor
Project Manager – Structures – Gold Coast Brisbane corridor
Project Manager – General Civil – Brisbane to Sunshine Coast corridor (PLACED)

To be eligible for these roles the clients are seeking:
Eligibility to work in Australia visa free
Experience in large project development and delivery, DTMR exposure ideal
Capability to work within a team environment and adapt to different company cultures
Strong references from past employers
A Tertiary Qualification in Engineering or Construction Management
The ability to undertake a role from project inception to handover
