Oil and Gas has taken off into the stratosphere in Nth Queensland and NW West Australia the projects rival the size of any infrastructure or civil job internationally, the end products are already pre sold to less resource-rich countries than ourselves with new deposits and wells being discovered monthly the momentum shows no signs of slowing.

Its quite a challenge attracting and retaining senior staff with so many projects on offer and a lack of experienced personnel, its more or less coming down to the way that Senior Staff are treated and not so much salary that dictates where they end up working.

What is the role?

Basically, they are seeking a Project Director to deliver profitable projects to time, cost, quality and compliance dimensions and represent the company to their Oil and Gas clients.

Responsibilities will include:

Active participation in leading the bid from inception to award then mobilisation to site to project handover
Providing direction to the senior management team of the project
Financial and progress reporting to the client and contractor as well as other included parties
Active participation in Strategic and Annual Plans development and delivery
Project goals and objectives developed and agreed with GM
Ensuring Project goals and objectives achieved.
Ensuring the Project complies with all regulations and governance requirements
Making sure that Business, financial, community and environmental risks minimised
Aiming for satisfaction for all internal and external stakeholders
Compliance to Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Plans and standards

And other duties as required.
