They currently require an experienced Civil Procurement Manager to manage the procurement function and an associated team.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for the setting up the procurement systems on the project in conjunction with the commercial manager, establishing relationships with suppliers, financial reporting and progress reporting, management of a small team and generally eliminating inefficiencies in the purchasing process.
The desired background for this position will be experience in major infrastructure projects. Contractor experience is preferable however the client would consider consultancy applicants. Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related Construction Qualification are a prerequisite for this role.
