With an industry leading staff retention rate as well as numerous staff support and social programmes they continue to grow their business year by year by way of Training, New Technology and the determination to not just deliver a project, but deliver a superior one.

Due to an increase in signed orders they now have a requirement for a Project Manager – SEQ with a background in Roads, Subdivisions and associated works to take a portfolio of projects from Inception to Handover while within budget and time parameters.

Reporting to the Construction Manager the candidate will be responsible for:
• Developing and reviewing construction planning and monitoring progress of allocated projects to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates.
• Authorising construction planning, programming and on-site completion schedules and liaising with the Construction Manager over completion dates for different phases of construction.
• Supervising and scheduling the activities of Site Engineers, Foremen and on-site purchasing and administrative staff to ensure coordination of the construction process.
• Reviewing project costs and taking corrective action if significant deviations from budget occur.
• Reporting regularly to management on budgets.
• Resolving day-to-day on-site industrial relations problems and refer major industrial relations problems to the State/Branch Manager.
• Coordinating the branch safety committee to resolve potential safety issues.
• Controlling project programming, cost control, time control, quality control, purchasing, contract administration, general site administration and the activities of sub-contractors.

Have you successfully delivered subdivision works, DTMR projects and bulk and detail earthworks projects to client satisfaction?

Candidates will be tertiary qualified in Civil Construction, be capable of running multiple projects concurrently, and also have a strong focus on relationship building with the clients and consultants.
