There is no doubt that a wave of massive megaprojects will be awarded rather soon – these vary from Oil and Gas infrastructure to large civil works ie Rail and roads. Project values are from CV$300m Rail projects to an absolutely crazy CV$16b Oil and Gas Onshore Plant and proprietary infrastructure, so these roles are really for long term employees who prefer the security and safety these large projects can provide. Our clients are those who prefer to ‘stay ahead of the game’ and taking this into account they have allocated us a mixture of bespoke strategic and current requirements they are looking to fill.

What roles are on offer?

Commercial Manager:

Top Tier Delivery expert requires a Commercial Manager to manage the entire Financial and Contractual obligations of projects from a Perth Base. Reporting to the Finance Manager and supporting the site based Commercial Staff, the CM will be responsible for assessment and review of tender documentation, award in conjunction with Project Managers, financial reporting, review of site documentation, auditing and review of procedures and systems and other duties as required.

Contracts Manager:
Top Tier site opportunity on a massive Oil and Gas job CV$1b+ - reporting to the PM and management of a team of 7 including procurement, contracts and administration staff. Review and assessment of subcontracts and contract engineering, financial reporting and cost management and review of staff output. FIFO to site and 3 weeks on 1 week off roster as well as SUBSTANTIAL site uplift.

Procurement Officer:

CV$300m Rail project – FIFO role and reporting to the Commercial Manager – responsible for consulting with internal customers to lead the procurement process to meet business needs, Manage relationships and ways of working with key suppliers to ensure continuous improvement in the delivery of goods/services that meet business requirements and Improving systems and processes to deliver greater efficiency and effectiveness of service for company and customers – additionally, providing support to the Commercial Manager and Quantity Surveyor. 10 and 4 roster and excellent site uplift and allowances.

Junior QS:

CV$300m Rail Project – FIFO reporting to the Quantity Surveyor – Contribute to the quantity surveying function and ensure the accurate and timely preparation of Bills of Quantities and specifications to facilitate project cost control, supporting the QS and the production of Bills and specifications and ensure Bills, specifications and contract documents are co-ordinated and consistent. Construction related tertiary qualification required. 10 and 4 roster and excellent site uplift and allowances.
